How long does FOND last once I open a jar?
Once a jar is opened, you have 4 - 7 days to use it. If you’re coming up on 7 days or are going to be heading out of town, pour the broth into an ice cube tray and freeze it. -
If it’s unopened, how long is FOND shelf-stable for?
FOND is shelf-stable for 2 years, or until the manufacture date listed on the bottom of the jar, just below the label. -
Where is the expiration date on my jar, and what does it mean?
The expiration date on any jar of FOND will be just below the main label, and will be in black ink. Here’s an example of what it looks like: "BEST BY 05/2023 #6" - this is showing that your jar of FOND is good (if unopened) until that date. -
